Rogue Sunroof Not Initialized Error

I'm having trouble with the sunroof on my 2020 Nissan Rogue with a gasoline engine, currently at 60625 km. The system shows a 'sunroof not initialized' error. The sunblind gets stuck, the convertible top is inoperable, and the sunblind won't retract or extend. I think it's from recent coding adjustments. Has anyone else seen this?

I had a very similar issue with my Rogue. The symptoms you describe match what I experienced: the sunblind getting stuck and eventual failure of the entire sunroof mechanism. Did this start happening immediately after the coding changes?

Given that it occurred right after the coding, it strongly suggests a calibration problem. I wasn't able to resolve the issue myself and ended up taking it to a workshop. They recalibrated the sunroof, which resolved the error and restored full functionality.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Following your advice, I had the sunroof recalibrated at a local shop, and it resolved the issue. The total cost was 75€. It appears the coding had indeed disrupted the initial sunroof settings.
