Thanks for the info! What exactly should I be looking for regarding 'mechanical integrity'? Cracks? Obvious breaks? I'm not a pro mechanic, so more detail is better.

Mechanical integrity refers to the structural soundness of the motor mount and its components. Visually inspect for cracking or fracturing of the rubber or polyurethane damping material; separation of the damping material from the metal housing; deformation or bending of the mounting bracket; and excessive play or movement when the engine is gently rocked. If any of these are present, the mount has likely failed and requires replacement. Considering the symptoms and error code, it may be prudent to consult a qualified technician for a comprehensive diagnosis and repair.

Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I took your advice and really gave the mount a good look. Turns out, there was a hairline crack I missed the first time. I replaced it, and it's smooth as butter now! Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. Definitely saved me a lot of guesswork and probably bigger problems.

The symptoms and error code strongly suggest a problem within the engine mounting system. A defective cable or plug connection is plausible, but consider the mechanical integrity of the motor mount itself. Examine the mounting bracket and the transmission mount for signs of degradation or failure. A failed mount can induce uneven idling due to increased engine vibration. Perform a thorough visual inspection before assuming a simple electrical fault.
