Summary of the thread
A 2012 Lexus RX owner is experiencing a blower motor malfunction, with a diagnostic scan indicating an AUC sensor fault. The issue is suspected to be caused by a bad cable or plug connection. Thanks for the tip! Air con is completely dead too. Where exactly is the AUC sensor located? I want to double-check the connections.

Yep, sounds like the same issue I had. It's near the HVAC unit, behind the glove box, as far as I remember. Honestly, after fiddling with it for an afternoon, I just took mine to a workshop to sort it. Saved me a headache.

Cheers! Decided to get it sorted at a shop. Turns out it was indeed the connector. Cost me 95€ to get it fixed. Appreciate the help!

I had something similar in my RX. Check the sensor connection thoroughly. Could be a loose wire. Is the air con working at all?
