RX Cruise Control Failure

Cruise control on my 2014 Lexus RX with a gasoline engine suddenly stopped working. An error message appears, and the system is unresponsive. The error memory also stores the fault. With 242644 km, I suspect a connection problem, maybe a defective cable or plug. Any troubleshooting advice before I take it in?

I had a similar issue with my RX a while back. The error message drove me nuts. Did you check the fuse box? In my case, it was a blown fuse related to the cruise control system. Also, have a look at the steering wheel controls, maybe the buttons are faulty.

No problem. Honestly, I can't remember the exact fuse number. I just took it to my local workshop, and they fixed it pretty quickly. I suggest doing the same - they'll probably diagnose and fix it in no time!
