RX Hybrid Limp Mode ABS Fault

My 2017 Lexus RX hybrid with 62628 km has gone into transfer case limp mode. Gearbox slips and shifts uncleanly. Diagnostic points to consequential faults from possible ABS issues. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. Had a similar limp mode issue on my Volvo V60. The fault codes pointed all over the place. Did you check the gear selector?

Gear selector seems fine. Why do you ask? Any specific reason, or were your symptoms similar?

Yeah, the Volvo had similar shifting issues. Turned out a dodgy ABS sensor was throwing everything off and putting it into limp-home mode. I'd get it checked out in a workshop asap.

Thanks. It was exactly as you said and the error was indeed in the ABS system. Got it fixed and back on the road, repair cost: 0€
