RX radio signal issues
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Lexus RX hybrid owner is experiencing radio signal issues, with the infotainment system displaying error messages and the audio system occasionally cutting out. Yeah, lots of static, and the signal strength is all over the place. Where exactly is the antenna base located? Is it easy to get to, or am I going to need special tools?

Okay, that's almost exactly what I was experiencing. The antenna base is a pain to get to, it's under the headliner. Honestly, unless you're really comfortable messing with that kind of thing, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. Could save you a bigger headache.

Appreciate the heads up! I figured it might be something like that. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – defective antenna. Cost me 255€ to get it sorted. Thanks again for the help!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got an RX too, and had similar problems a while back. Was the reception just weak, or were you getting a lot of static too? Did you check the connection to the antenna base?
