RX Windshield Washer Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Lexus RX owner experienced an issue with the windshield washer heater, resulting in frozen spray nozzles and an error message. The suspected cause was a defective cable or plug connection. The problem was confirmed to be a faulty cable connection to the windshield washer heater, which was subsequently repaired.

That's a good point! But if the motor was broken I wouldn't hear it running, right? I can clearly hear it, it just doesn't spray anything on the windshield. So you are saying you have the same car? Do you have any tips how to check the connection or the cable itself?

Yeah, I thought the motor might be completely dead, my bad. But honestly, fiddling with electrics isn't my forte. Considering the error message and frozen nozzles, it really does sound like a heater malfunction. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. Could save you a lot of headache in the long run.

Thanks, that makes sense! I appreciate the input. I took your advice and brought it to a workshop. Turns out it was indeed the cable connection to the windshield washer heater. Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

Hmm, that's a strange one. I also drive an RX, though I've not experienced the frozen nozzles. But wouldn't that affect the washer motor too? Maybe check that first?
