S10 Brake Fluid Loss
Summary of the thread
The conversation centers around a 2013 Chevrolet S10 experiencing brake fluid loss and a strange brake pedal feel. The initial concern was whether the issue was due to internal leakage in the master cylinder or worn brakes requiring more fluid. A suggestion was made to check for worn brakes, which was confirmed by a workshop. The solution involved replacing the brake pads and topping off the fluid, resolving the problem.

Thanks! Can you give me more details about your symptoms? Was your fluid level low and pedal feel weird like mine? Did you notice uneven pad wear or rotor issues?

Yep, brake fluid was low and pedal felt odd, like you described. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; they will know better.

Thanks for the help. A shop confirmed it was worn brake pads, so I replaced them and topped off the fluid. Cost me 480€ for parts and labor. Your input sped up the diagnosis.

I had a similar issue with my S10. Turned out to be worn brakes. Worth checking them before you dig too deep.
