I haven't checked the codes yet. The fuel filter was replaced about 30,000 km ago. Anything specific I should look for when I get the codes read?

Given the symptoms and mileage, plus the filter isn't brand new, a defective high pressure pump impacting your fuel volume regulator is a strong possibility. Getting the codes read is the first step, but with those symptoms, I'd recommend taking it to a reputable shop for a proper diagnosis before throwing parts at it.

Thanks for the advice! My mechanic confirmed it was the fuel volume regulator due to a bad high pressure fuel pump. Cost me 1510€ to fix, but it's running like new again. Appreciate the help!

Sounds fuel-related. Have you checked for trouble codes? Rough idling and reduced power point to fuel starvation. Could also be a clogged fuel filter, but the check engine light makes me lean towards a sensor or pump issue. When did you last replace your fuel filter?
