S10 Sun Blind Failure
Summary of the thread
The sun blind on a 2018 Chevrolet S10 is stuck and not functioning, accompanied by an error code. The issue is suspected to be a faulty motor in the sunblind mechanism, as indicated by a faint whirring sound without movement. The suggested solution is to have the motor checked and potentially replaced by a professional workshop, which resolved the issue for another owner at a cost.

Yes, there's a faint whirring sound, but the blind doesn't move. Does that sound like what you had?

That's exactly what I heard. Sounds like a faulty motor. Given how tricky it is, I'd suggest letting a workshop handle it.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was the sunblind motor. Cost me 330€ to repair.

I have a similar Chevrolet S10. I experienced a comparable issue with my sun visor. Does the blind make any noise when you try to use it?
