S10 weak heater
Summary of the thread
The heater in a 2012 Chevy S10 is weak, and an error code has been thrown. The suspected cause is a malfunctioning heater control valve, possibly due to a connection issue. It is suggested to check the valve and connections, as a defective valve can restrict coolant flow to the heater core. The problem was confirmed to be a valve issue, and a repair was planned.

Coolant level's fine. You're talking about the valve itself, not just low coolant?

Correct. With proper coolant level, a malfunctioning heater control valve—specifically, a defective cable or plug connection—can restrict coolant flow even when it should be open. Essentially, the engine is heating up, but the heater core isn't getting enough hot coolant to produce warm air. Given the error code and your suspicion of a connection issue, I'd advise getting it checked by a workshop.

Confirmed valve issue. 95€ repair. Thanks.

I had a similar issue with my S10. The heater blowing cold air usually indicates a problem with the engine coolant circulation. The 'water valve' you're referring to is likely the heater control valve, which regulates coolant flow to the heater core. Have you checked the coolant level? A low coolant level can prevent the heater core from receiving enough hot coolant.
