Yeah, I checked the sensor visually. Nothing obvious jumped out. How did you figure out it was the door sensor on yours?

Well, I had the same symptoms: doors refusing to cooperate. I took it to a workshop and they traced it back to a faulty door switch. The repair cost around 95€. Save yourself the hassle and get it properly diagnosed.

Thanks for the tip! I'll get it checked out by a pro then. Turns out, you were spot on – it was indeed a faulty door switch. Replaced it, and everything's working perfectly again. Much appreciated!

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my S40, too. Couldn't lock the car at all. Have you checked the door sensor? Is there anything obviously wrong with the car sensor?
