S60 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Issue

I'm having an issue with my 2011 Volvo S60 with a gasoline engine. I'm getting an error message and the brakes feel weak. A scan shows a brake booster pressure sensor failure. Could bleeding the brakes wrong cause this?

Hey, I had something similar happen in my S60! The brake pedal felt weird, like I had to push it way harder than usual. Did you check the ABS system? It could be related. I remember getting that error message too, scared the heck out of me!

Could you tell me more about what happened with yours? Was it also the brake booster pressure sensor, and what led up to it?

Yeah, it was the booster pressure sensor. Pretty sure the shop said something about air in the lines messing things up after a brake job. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with the brakes yourself. Get it to a trusted mechanic ASAP. Vehicle safety is no joke! The parts shouldn't be too bad, I think it cost me around 90€ plus labor.

Thanks for the info. I'll get it to a technician to check the brake booster pressure sensor. Good to know someone else had the same issue and got it fixed. Thanks again!
