S60 cooling grille restricted
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Volvo S60 owner reported issues with a restricted cooling grille, incorrect temperature readings, and a check engine light. The engine also took longer than usual to reach normal operating temperature. After suspecting a defective fuse, the issue was confirmed and resolved by replacing the faulty fuse, restoring the system to normal operation.

Beyond the temperature display and prolonged warm-up, I haven't observed any other performance degradations. Did your S60 exhibit the same symptoms? Specifically, what other issues did you notice?

Yes, the symptoms were identical. Given that, and potential grill restriction which you observe, I'd advise taking it to a reputable workshop for a thorough diagnostic evaluation. Overheating can lead to serious engine damage, and it's best to err on the side of caution.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. I took it to the workshop. Turns out there was indeed a defective fuse, as I had guessed. After replacing it, the system is operating again as expected. The final bill came to 52€.

Interesting. I had a similar experience with my S60, though I didn't chase it down to a fuse. Are you noticing any other performance issues? It's crucial to address this promptly to prevent potential overheating.
