S60 cooling grille restricted

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2023 Volvo S60 gasoline engine. The cooling grille seems restricted, and I'm seeing some odd symptoms. The instrument cluster occasionally displays what I believe are incorrect temperatures, and the check engine light has illuminated. Additionally, it takes an unusually long time for the engine to reach its normal operating temperature. The car has 116779 km on it. I've checked for obvious obstructions but found nothing. I suspect a defective fuse might be the culprit. Any thoughts?

Interesting. I had a similar experience with my S60, though I didn't chase it down to a fuse. Are you noticing any other performance issues? It's crucial to address this promptly to prevent potential overheating.

Beyond the temperature display and prolonged warm-up, I haven't observed any other performance degradations. Did your S60 exhibit the same symptoms? Specifically, what other issues did you notice?

Yes, the symptoms were identical. Given that, and potential grill restriction which you observe, I'd advise taking it to a reputable workshop for a thorough diagnostic evaluation. Overheating can lead to serious engine damage, and it's best to err on the side of caution.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. I took it to the workshop. Turns out there was indeed a defective fuse, as I had guessed. After replacing it, the system is operating again as expected. The final bill came to 52€.
