Performance seems fine. Just the annoying error. I did check the battery, seems okay at first glance. I also ran some ECU diagnostics, and got undervoltage readings. So, you reckon it was something similar in your case?

Yes, sounds very familiar. I messed about trying to clear codes, chasing ghosts. In the end, a trip to the workshop sorted it. Cost me about 240€. Might be worth getting it properly diagnosed before you start throwing parts at it.

Appreciate the insight. Ended up being exactly what you said – undervoltage screwing with the ECU. Workshop confirmed, cleared the fault, and all's good now. 240€ lighter, but at least the car's happy.

I had a similar issue with my S60. Is it affecting performance, or just showing the error? Have you checked your battery lately? What about any recent work on the car's electrics?
