Sounds familiar. I have an S60 as well. Had similar electrical gremlins. Any voltage drop when you crank the engine, or is it more random?

Good question! It does seem like a voltage drop when starting, now that you mention it. Is that what you experienced? I'm also worried about the car electronics going haywire. How did you fix the issue?

Yep, voltage drop was the key. It's like the whole system gets momentarily stunned. But I didn't fix it myself; I just took it to a workshop, they dealt with it.

Understood! I appreciate the insight. I'll bite the bullet and get it checked out professionally. Turns out the auxiliary battery needed replacement, 290€. Hopefully, that will resolve these electronics issues.
