S60 Fog Sensor Issues

I'm experiencing issues with my 2021 Volvo S60 hybrid. It seems to be related to the fog sensor. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, the air conditioning system doesn't switch on, the spray nozzles are frozen even when it's not that cold, and the mirror heating isn't working. From what I've read, the likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection to the sensor. The mileage is at 100733 km. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Yes, the dashboard shows a general error symbol regarding a malfunction. Is that what you saw as well? Did you manage to solve the problem yourself or did you have to go to a mechanic?

Yes, that's exactly what I experienced. I tried to find the defective cable myself, but the access was too difficult. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They confirmed a defective connector and replaced it. I would suggest doing the same.

Thanks for the confirmation! I'll bring it in to the shop. The estimated repair cost is around 95€, so hopefully, it will be an easy fix.
