S60 Headlight Washer System Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Volvo S60 experienced a failure in both the headlight and windshield washer systems at 87,575 km. The initial suspicion was a bad cable connection at the pump or relay. After checking the fuses and confirming they were fine, the issue was identified as a bad cable at the headlight washer pump. The problem was resolved by repairing the cable, restoring the washer systems to working order.

I checked the fuses, and they're fine. Which pump are you talking about? The headlight washer pump, or the main windshield washer pump? What year is your S60?

I meant the headlight washer pump. Mine's a 2005. If the fuses are good and both washers are out, it's probably a bad pump or a clog. I took mine to a shop, and they figured it out fast.

Thanks for the advice. I investigated the pump and it was a bad cable. 165€ later, the Volvo is spraying again. Many thanks!

I had the same issue with my S60! Check the pump first; it's a common problem. Have you checked the fuse box? Sometimes it's just a blown fuse, easy peasy!
