S60 Ignition Terminal Interruption

My 2014 Volvo S60 gasoline engine won't start, and the error memory shows an interruption of Terminal 15 ignition positive. Mileage is 41852 km. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered this?

Strange, I had a similar problem with my S60 a while back. Car wouldn't start and it was some kind of electrical fault. Did you check the battery terminals and the fuse box? A voltage drop could also be the culprit. I remember reading something about the ignition switch being a potential problem too. It's probably nothing, but it might be worth checking before you bring it to a shop.

Thank you for the information. Could you please provide more details regarding the specific electrical fault you encountered, and which components you inspected?

I can't remember exactly what it was, sorry. But it sounds very familiar. I fiddled around with the battery terminals and checked some fuses, but in the end, I gave up and took it to the shop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Honestly, save yourself the headache and let a professional have a look. I ended up chasing my tail for hours. If it's the same, you might be looking at around 100€.

Understood. I appreciate the advice. The issue was indeed a defective plug connection, as suspected. The repair cost was 95€. Thank you again.
