S60 Right Turn Signal Issue

Right turn signal on my 2017 Volvo S60 with a gasoline engine is acting up. I'm getting an error, a warning light, and the light isn't working. I suspect a bad cable or plug. Has anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my S60. Have you checked the flasher relay? It's a common culprit. Also, give the bulb socket a good look. Sometimes corrosion can build up and cause intermittent problems. Did you check the voltage?

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the flasher relay located? I did check the voltage, it seems fine. The bulb looks fine too. I'm guessing there is some short-circuit.

The relay location can vary slightly, but check your owner's manual. It should be in one of the fuse boxes – either under the hood or inside the cabin. If voltage seems ok, and the bulb itself is good, it might be a deeper electrical fault. I'd recommend getting it checked out by a qualified workshop before you start tearing things apart. I ended up doing the same.

Appreciate the advice! Dropped it off at the workshop, and you were spot on, turned out to be a defective connector cable as I initially thought. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Thanks again!
