S660 Active Hood Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Honda S660 owner reported an "Active hood fault" message and an airbag warning light, indicating a problem with the active hood system. The issue was suspected to be related to the acceleration sensor, as the spring actuators were triggered without any recent front-end work. After consulting with others, it was confirmed that the acceleration sensor was indeed faulty, and the owner had it repaired at a workshop.

The error is pretty consistent now. It started off intermittent, but now it's always there when I start the car. And no, haven't had any work done on the front end lately. Just regular maintenance.

Okay, given that it's consistent and no recent work has been done, a faulty acceleration sensor is a likely culprit. Unfortunately, it’s part of the collision detection system, so it's best to get it checked out by a workshop to confirm.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a shop, and you were right, it was the acceleration sensor. Repair came out to 315€. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a possible acceleration sensor issue, yeah. Is the error consistently appearing, or is it intermittent? Have you had any work done on the front of the car recently?
