I haven't checked the hoses yet, but the gas cap seems fine. Where exactly are those hoses located? Any specific ones to look for?

They're a bit tricky to get to, near the fuel tank filler neck. Honestly, if you're not comfortable poking around there, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It's a fire risk messing with the fuel system if you don't know what you're doing. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks, I took it to a shop. They confirmed it was the tank ventilation valve and some clogged hoses. Repair cost me 175€. Appreciate the pointer!

Sounds familiar. Does it happen after filling up? On my S660, I had similar symptoms, and it turned out to be clogged hoses connected to the tank ventilation system. Try checking those first. When did you last replace the gas cap?
