S660 rain light sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda S660 is experiencing a rain-light sensor fault, causing issues with automatic wipers, headlight control, speedometer dimming, and random light activation. The problem is likely due to bubbles forming under the gel pad on the windshield, affecting the sensor's function. The suggested solution is to have the sensor checked and repaired at a workshop, which resolved the issue for a cost of 62€.

I haven't physically checked the sensor yet. Where exactly is it located, and what should I be looking for? Any specific signs of damage or something out of the ordinary?

On my 3 series the sensor was behind the rearview mirror, against the windshield. I had gel bubbles on my windshield, those triggered the fault. I'd say just take it to a workshop.

Thanks for the tip! Turns out, bubbles forming under the gel pad on the windshield were the culprit. Workshop confirmed it. Cost me 62€ to fix. Appreciate the insight!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 series. Random lights, auto-wipers going haywire... Could be a faulty sensor, or maybe something messing with its signal. Have you checked the sensor itself?
