Thanks for the quick reply. Fuel filter hasn't been changed in about 40000 km. How much did the Saab fix cost? Did injector cleaning work, or did you replace them?

Cleaning helped temporarily, but the problem returned. Ended up replacing all injectors, cost around 600€. Given your Volvo's age, a mechanic's diagnostic test could pinpoint the injector and assess the fuel system. Get a professional opinion before buying parts.

Thanks for the help. Mechanic confirmed a defective injector. Replacement, with labor, cost 515€.

Had similar cold start issues with my old Saab 9-5. Rough running for a few minutes. Maybe a blocked or dirty injector? Have you tried injector cleaner? When was the last fuel filter change? A clogged filter restricts fuel flow, causing similar problems.
