S80 Cruise Control Failure

Hi, I have a 2008 Volvo S80 diesel with almost 240000 km on the clock. Recently, the cruise control stopped working. The system doesn't engage at all. I scanned for errors and there's something stored related to it. I've checked the basic stuff like fuses, but haven't found anything obvious. Any ideas where to start looking?

I had a similar problem with my S80. Does your brake light work properly? And have you had any issues with the throttle response?

Brake lights seem fine. I haven't noticed any issues with the throttle either. What were your symptoms, and what did you end up doing to fix it?

My cruise control also just cut out completely. Turned out to be a faulty pedal switch. Since you have an error stored, it's likely a sensor issue. Best bet is to get it checked out at a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the shop, and you were right – it was a defective cable connection. Cost me about 95€ to fix. Appreciate the help!
