S80 rough idle engine mount

Rough idling and an engine mount error sound familiar. I've got an S80 too, though not the same year. I had similar symptoms a while back. Did you check for any visible wear or damage on the rubber mount itself?

Good question. I did check the mount, and honestly, it didn't look too bad visually. No obvious cracks or tears. That's why I was thinking it might be electrical. When you had this issue, was the rubber mount visibly damaged, or was it something else?

Mine looked okay too, no obvious damage. I messed around with it for a bit, but eventually I took it to a workshop. They found it was the engine mount and replaced it. It fixed the idling issue completely.
