S80 Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues

My 2004 Volvo S80 with a gasoline engine has a low tire pressure warning light, ABS lamp, vibrating steering wheel, and stiff steering, almost like the power steering is failing. I suspect a defective tire valve. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my 2012 Opel Insignia. Low tire pressure warning and weird steering. Did you check the tire pressures?

Yes, I checked the tire pressure. All tires are at the recommended pressure. Was that the case for you too?

Yep. All tires showed the correct pressure. But the workshop found a slow leak in one tire due to a faulty valve stem. I'd recommend a thorough inspection at a trusted workshop for your Volvo.

Thanks for sharing. A defective valve seems likely, as I suspected. I'll take it to a shop for inspection and repair. It was 280€.
