S90 Cruise Control Failure

Alright Volvo gurus, need your wisdom! My 2019 Volvo S90 hybrid's cruise control just quit on me. The 'cruise control not available' message pops up, and I definitely saw an error light flash on the dashboard briefly. I'm guessing its a blown fuse or a dodgy steering wheel connection, but I'm no mechanic! Any ideas where to even start looking?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had the same problem with my S90. Does the dashboard light come on every time you try to use the cruise control?

Yeah, every single time I try to activate the cruise control! What was the fix? Please tell me it wasn't some crazy expensive sensor!

Sounds like we had the same issue. In my case, it was a defective cable or plug connection. Honestly, I just took it to the workshop -- didn't want to mess with the steering wheel myself. They said it was related to the clock spring in the steering column. Best to just let someone qualified handle it, my dude.
