Thank you for the quick reply. I haven't observed any unusual DEF fluid consumption. How did you resolve the issue with your vehicle?

Honestly, I tried a few things, but ended up taking it to the shop. Turned out it was the lambda sensor like I suspected. It can mess with the catalytic converter and NOx sensors too. Best get it checked professionally, before it causes more damage.

Understood. I appreciate the advice. I'll schedule an appointment with a qualified technician to assess the lambda sensor and other exhaust components. The repair cost was 375€. Thank you again.

Hey, I had something similar with my S90. Check engine light, rough idle, and a nasty smell. I'd bet it's the lambda sensor. Are you losing DEF fluid quickly, or noticing anything weird with the particulate filter?
