S90 Hybrid Rough Start Reduced Power

I have a 2022 Volvo S90 hybrid with about 59k km. Recently, it's been starting rough, fuel consumption seems higher, and the engine power feels reduced. Sometimes it even stalls at idle, and the idling is uneven. Could a defective injection nozzle cause these?

I also have an S90 hybrid, and your symptoms sound familiar. Have you noticed any unusual smells or seen any smoke? Maybe a misfire? I had similar issues, and it turned out to be dirty injection valves, possibly from clogging. Worth checking!

No unusual smells or smoke, but I think I've noticed a slight misfire sometimes. How did you confirm it was the injection valves? What did you do to fix it?

I didn't confirm it myself, a mechanic diagnosed it. Given the symptoms, he suspected dirty injection valves and suggested a cleaning or replacement. In the end he replaced it. I advise you to visit a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to the shop, and you were right – defective injection nozzle! Replaced it, cost me 515€. Runs like new now.
