Now that you mention it, I did notice the cooling fan running more than usual. Where should I start looking for problems?

Given the fan running more and the error message, it really does sound like what I experienced: a faulty radiator pressure sensor connection. I'd advise getting it checked at a workshop ASAP, they can easily check all connections to the sensor and confirm whether this component is indeed defective. It's better to be safe than sorry with transmission issues. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the information! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. It was a defective connector to the pressure sensor. The repair cost 95€, and now everything is working as it should.

Hey there, I also drive an S90. Your symptoms sound eerily familiar to an issue I had a while back. Was there any sign of overheating or coolant loss before this started happening?
