S90 Washer Fluid Sensor Issue

My 2018 Volvo S90 hybrid is throwing a 'washer fluid low' warning, but the reservoir is full. The windshield washer system isn't spraying. Anyone else run into this? There's an error stored, so I'm thinking it's more than just being actually low.

That’s odd. I had a similar problem with my 2019 BMW 3 series last year. It kept saying the washer fluid was low even though it wasn't.

Yeah, exactly! The error persists even after topping it off. Was the error message the same even after you filled it up? Did you find out what was causing the false reading in your BMW?

Unfortunately, I never figured out the root cause myself. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it. I would recommend you do the same. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I took it in, and it turns out the level sensor was faulty. A new sensor and fitting cost me 25€. Problem solved!
