Yes, I have noticed a slight decrease in power, particularly when accelerating uphill. Could you elaborate on which vacuum lines were problematic in your case? Any specific areas I should inspect?

The power loss confirms my suspicions. Honestly, diagnosing the precise vacuum line without proper equipment is tricky. Given the overheating, and the potential for further damage, I'd strongly recommend a thorough inspection at a trusted workshop. They'll be able to perform a smoke test and pinpoint the leak quickly.

I followed your advice and took it to a workshop. Turns out, it was a faulty temperature sensor causing the bypass valve error and the overheating. Replaced the sensor, cleared the error, and everything seems to be running smoothly now. Total cost: 0€. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my Safrane, though I can't recall the exact year. The bypass valve error was indeed a symptom of a bigger problem. Do you experience any power loss alongside the overheating? That could point to a vacuum leak affecting the turbocharger (if equipped).
