Sail cruise control malfunction
Summary of the thread
The cruise control on a 2012 Chevrolet Sail diesel stopped working, displaying an error message on the speedometer. The initial suspicion was a bad cable or plug. After checking the fuses, which were fine, it was suggested that the issue might be due to corrosion in a connector. The problem was resolved at a workshop, where a bad connection was repaired.

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the fuse box, and the cruise control fuses look okay. Is there a specific fuse or relay I should be checking?

Right, fuses look good... hmmm. When mine did that, it was corrosion in a connector. Annoying! Unless you're seriously into car electrics, you might be better off having a workshop take a look. Don't want to make it worse.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop. It was a bad connection. Repair cost 95€. Thanks again for your help.

Sail cruise control, eh? Sounds familiar. Mine's just petrol, but I had something similar last year. Error message and all. Did you check the fuse box? That's the first place I'd look. Was it always doing this, or did it crop up suddenly?
