Santro audio system failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Hyundai Santro with 40,000 km has a non-functional audio system, including the head unit and navigation. A diagnostic tool indicates a MOST bus fault, suggesting a faulty control unit on the MOST bus as the likely cause. Checking the fuses showed no issues, and similar past experiences suggest that professional diagnosis and repair at a workshop familiar with car electronics is necessary.

Yeah, I checked all the fuses. They seem to be fine. Did your Santro have the exact same symptoms? No audio, nav dead, the whole shebang?

Yep, pretty much the same deal. Everything was just dead. In my case, it turned out to be one of the control units. Honestly, it's a pain to diagnose without the right tools. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop that knows their way around car electronics.

Thanks for the advice! I was hoping it wouldn't come to that, but it sounds like the only way to go. The estimate is around 1000€, but at least I know what's wrong. Appreciate the help!

Whoa, sounds rough! I had something similar happen in my Santro, though I can't remember the exact year. Have you checked the fuses? That's the first thing the dealer told me to do when my infotainment went haywire.
