Santro Fuel Level Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Hyundai Santro with a gasoline engine and 160,760 km is experiencing a check engine light and occasional stalling at idle, with a diagnostic indicating a fuel level sensor fault. The issue is unlikely to be a defective fuse, as the fuel gauge appears to function normally. The problem was resolved by replacing the faulty fuel level sensor, which eliminated the check engine light and stalling issues.

You mean the fuel gauge on the car dashboard? Not really, the gauge seems fine. Was the issue on your car related to the car sensor itself?

Yeah, the fuel gauge in my Astra seemed okay at first, but then it started fluctuating wildly. It ended up being the fuel level sensor in the tank. You should probably get it checked at a workshop, it could also be the wiring.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had the car diagnosed, and it was indeed the fuel level sensor. Replaced it for 52€ and the problem seems to be solved.

Sounds familiar. I had almost the same symptoms with my old Opel Astra. Check engine light was on constantly. It turned out to be a faulty fuel level sensor. Does your fuel gauge act erratically?
