Interesting! I haven't checked the seat harness itself yet. Where exactly should I be looking for it? Is it easy to access without special tools?

On my Astra, it was right under the seat, easily accessible by reaching underneath. No tools needed, just a bit awkward. But honestly, with a stored error code and no movement, I'd strongly suggest having it professionally diagnosed. It could be a deeper electrical issue.

Thanks! Your experience gives me a bit more confidence. I took it to a workshop, and indeed, it turned out to be related to the battery causing the seat to malfunction. Repair cost was 290€. Thanks again!

That's quite a puzzle! I had a similar drama with my 2018 Opel Astra. Exact same symptoms: error code and a dead passenger seat. Have you checked the seat harness connection under the seat? It might be loose or damaged.
