Santro tire pressure sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Hyundai Santro is experiencing a persistent tire pressure error despite the tires being properly inflated, suggesting a possible sensor issue. The problem may be due to a faulty tire pressure sensor, potentially caused by a dead sensor battery. The recommended solution is to replace all tire pressure sensors, especially given the vehicle's mileage, to prevent future issues.

Interesting. So, if it's the sensor battery, is there any way to confirm which one is faulty without special tools? Or is it just better to replace all of them at once?

I didn't bother checking which one. At that mileage, and given that they all likely have the same lifespan, I'd suggest getting them all replaced in the workshop. It is a bit of a pain, but worth the effort to avoid repeated trips. I'm quite sure they'll use a diagnostic tool to confirm and handle the replacement.

Thanks! Makes sense. I booked it in. The workshop confirmed it was the sensor battery and replaced all four sensors. Cost me 280€. Peace of mind now knowing it's sorted.

Sounds familiar. I had the same issue on my old Opel Corsa. Same symptoms, error message and everything. For me, the cause was a dead battery in one of the tire pressure sensors.
