Saxo Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Citroen Saxo experienced central locking failure, with doors not locking or unlocking and an error code from the computer. The suspected cause was a bad connection, possibly a faulty wire or plug. Suggestions included checking the fuse box and considering a defective connection to the central locking module. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by replacing a defective cable or plug connection at a garage, restoring the system to normal function.

Thanks for the tip! Which fuse should I be looking at specifically? And no, I haven't touched the alarm system. I'm pretty sure it's not a fuse, but worth a check. If it isn't that, what do you reckon?

Yeah, fuses are always the first thing to check when things go wrong. Well, my issue ended up being a defective connection to the central locking module. Honestly, I just took it to a workshop. They diagnosed it super quick and sorted it out, didn't cost much. Probably the easiest option!

Thanks! Sounds like a garage is the best course of action. It turned out to be a defective cable or plug connection. They replaced it and charged 95€. Everything is working fine now!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Saxo. Was driving me nuts! Check your fuse box first, it's the easiest thing to eliminate. Also, have you messed with the car alarm recently? That can sometimes mess with the door locks.
