Saxo fog sensor and other electrical issues

I'm having a strange issue with my 2003 Citroen Saxo diesel. The fog sensor seems to be acting up. I'm getting an error stored, the AC won't switch on, the spray nozzles are frozen even when it's not that cold, and the mirror heating is dead. Anyone seen this before? I'm suspecting a dodgy cable or plug connection somewhere.

Whoa, that's a weird combo of issues! Sounds like more than just a fog sensor, right? I had something similar happen with my old Peugeot 206. The climate control went haywire and the rear window heating stopped working. Did you check the wiring harness near the sensor itself? Maybe some corrosion going on?

Corrosion... hmm, hadn't thought that specifically. You mean where the sensor plugs into the main loom? Was it a pain to get to on your 206?

Yep, exactly there. On the 206, it was a bit of a fiddle, you had to remove part of the dashboard trim. But honestly, with all those systems failing, I'm starting to think it's more than just a loose wire. Have you considered taking it to a workshop? They might be able to diagnose it properly with their tools.

Good point. You're probably right; chasing wires could take forever. I'll book it in. Thanks for the advice!
