Saxo parking aid fault

Parking aid fault on my 2001 Citroen Saxo electric, 20678 km mileage. The parking assistant is not working, and there's an error stored. Diagnostics point to a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this before?

Hey! Parking woes, eh? My Saxo did something similar. The sensors were going nuts, beeping even when there was nothing behind me. The garage thought it was a dodgy connection to one of the ultrasonic sensors. Did they check those?

Thanks. I haven't inspected the ultrasonic sensors individually yet. Was your error message the same, and did replacing the connection fix it?

Pretty similar error message, yeah. It messed up parking. I let the workshop handle it. Turned out to be a corroded connector and some water near the rear bumper. They cleaned it, replaced the connector, and it's been fine. Best to get it checked by a professional.
