Saxo Radiator Oil Pressure
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Citroen Saxo with a gasoline engine is experiencing a radiator oil pressure issue, causing the transmission indicator and check engine lights to activate. The automatic transmission is stuck in emergency mode, shifts erratically, slips, and makes grinding noises. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection. The problem was confirmed to be a defective cable to the pressure sensor, which was repaired at a workshop, resolving the issue.

Intermittent at first, now it's constant. What was the resolution for yours? Was it as simple as a cable?

Mine ended up being more involved, unfortunately. I chased the intermittent thing for ages. Turned out to be a faulty pressure sensor within the cooling system throwing everything off. Had to go to a workshop in the end. Would suggest the same for you.

Thanks for the insight. Turns out the workshop confirmed it. Defective cable to the pressure sensor as suspected. Repair cost 95€. Problem solved.

Saxo, eh? Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Saxo. Transmission light, weird shifting. Was it doing it all the time or just intermittently?
