Saxo Stalling at Idle

My 2001 Citroen Saxo with a gasoline engine is stalling at idle, and the check engine light is on. I've checked the pressure sensor, and it seems fine. Could it be the tank ventilation valve? Has anyone else experienced this?

I also own a Saxo, though I'm not sure of the year. I had a similar problem. Do the symptoms disappear if you open the fuel tank cap?

That's a good idea! I haven't tried running it with the fuel cap open. If the symptoms disappear when the cap is open, what does that indicate?

From what I know, it probably means the hoses are clogged, and the tank ventilation valve is faulty. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop.

It WAS the tank ventilation valve! The hoses were indeed clogged. I replaced the valve and cleaned the hoses. The engine light is off, and it's no longer stalling! It cost me 175€ at the workshop. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
