Saxo Stalling Idle Fuel Composition Error

Good call on the fuel filter, I haven't checked that yet. I'll add it to the list. I haven't specifically noticed engine knock, but I'll listen more closely. It seems to be stalling more when the engine is warm, after driving a while. If it's not the fuel filter, what else could cause this?

Stalling when warm and a fuel composition error, even after additives, is tricky. While it could still be fuel-related, a faulty sensor might also be the problem, especially if it only happens when the engine is warm. It's hard to diagnose remotely. It could be a number of things, so I think you should take it to a workshop.

Thanks for the input! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right, it was tricky! It was a defective cable/plug connection to one of the components. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Runs great now!

Incorrect fuel composition is interesting. Have you checked your fuel filter recently? A clogged filter can mess with the fuel pressure. Also, are you hearing any engine knock? Is it always stalling, or only when the engine is cold?
