SC brake pedal feedback

I'm experiencing a rather odd issue with my 2002 Lexus SC, gasoline engine, with a mere 59320 km on the clock. The brakes are giving me strange feedback through the pedal. Nothing violent, just...off. I've checked the pads and rotors visually, and they seem okay, no obvious scoring or excessive wear. Fluid level is fine too, no air bubbles as far as I can tell. My gut tells me it might be something electrical, perhaps an undervoltage situation causing the ABS to act strangely, but I'm not sure where to start diagnosing. Anyone else encountered anything similar?

I had something similar on my SC. Did you check the brake calipers?

I glanced at them, yeah, no obvious leaks or seized pistons, but I didn't do a super thorough inspection. What were the symptoms on yours when your calipers were acting up?

Feedback from the brake pedal and squeaky brakes. The workshop confirmed. You better check the calipers.

Okay, I appreciate the insight. I'll get the calipers checked out properly. Turns out it was indeed the calipers, causing uneven pad wear and the weird pedal feel. All sorted now, new calipers and pads, cost me about 240€ all in. Thanks!
