SC Door Lock Failure

Anyone else seen this? My 2010 Lexus SC, gasoline engine, has a door that won't lock or unlock. Mileage is at 238197 km. I'm thinking it's the door switch. Annoying, isn't it?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my SC. Was your car alarm going crazy too, or just the door locks not working? Could be the connection, have you checked the plugs?

Car alarm is acting normal, just the locks. By 'plugs', you mean the ones in the door jamb?

Yep, the ones in the door jamb. I fiddled with mine for ages but eventually gave in and took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a faulty cable. They charged me 95€ for the repair.
