No, the blower motor and climate control seem to be working fine, and I haven't noticed any coolant leaks. Is replacing the glow plug something I can do myself, or is it better left to a professional?

While technically you could replace the glow plug yourself, it's often in a tricky spot and requires specialized tools to access without damaging anything else. Plus, the error code needs to be cleared from the system afterward. Given the potential for complications, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Expect a bill around 440€, including labor and parts.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local garage and you were spot on – it was indeed the glow plug. Got it replaced and the error cleared. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a common issue with these heaters. When they throw an error and refuse to start, the glow plug is often the culprit. Think of it like a lightbulb filament burning out. Have you noticed any other related symptoms, like issues with the blower motor, climate control acting strangely, or coolant leaks? Those can sometimes be connected.
