Scenic GPS Reception Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Renault Scenic is experiencing a GPS reception fault, displaying 'No GPS reception' and storing an error code. The suspected cause is a defective GPS antenna. It is suggested to first check the antenna connection, typically located on the roof near the rear, as it might be loose. If the issue persists, professional diagnosis and potential replacement of the antenna may be necessary.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the antenna connection located? I've had a quick look but couldn't immediately spot it. Also, is there a way to test the antenna itself before replacing it?

It's usually on the roof, near the rear. Honestly, I wouldn't know how to test it without proper equipment. I ended up going to a workshop and they confirmed it was the antenna. Saved me a lot of hassle.

Appreciate the info. Sounds like I'll have to book it in. Got a quote for around 200€ for replacement, so it's not the end of the world. Thanks again!

I had something similar with my Scenic. Check the antenna connection first, it could just be loose. Are you sure the antenna is faulty?
