Scenic Heating Issue

Hi, I'm having trouble with the heating in my 2010 Renault Scenic diesel. The error memory indicates a fault with the defrost air distribution flap. The heating output is too low. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced something similar? The mileage is 102915 km. Could this be related to the heater core or perhaps something behind the dashboard panel?

I had a similar issue with my Scenic. Was the windshield fogging up more than usual? And did you happen to check the blower motor? Could be related to the air distribution, which is a pain to get to.

Yes, the windshield does fog up quite a bit. I haven't checked the blower motor specifically. Was your issue also related to a defective cable or connection, or was it something else entirely?

It sounds very similar. In my case, the error was related to a faulty connection. Given the symptoms and the error code, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to confirm. It ended up costing me around 95€ to get it sorted.
