Scenic Height Control Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Renault Scenic owner experienced issues with the vehicle's height control, indicated by a warning light and uneven ride height, particularly between the front and rear axles. The problem was identified as a defective control rod on the height sensor, also known as the leveling sensor. The solution involved replacing the faulty control rod, which resolved the warning light and ride issues.

Thanks for the info! When you say 'leveling sensor', is that the same as the height sensor? Where exactly is that located so I can take a look?

Yes, height sensor and leveling sensor are often used interchangeably. I recommend you go to the workshop. I had the same issue and it was in fact the control rod as suspected. The whole repair including parts cost me around 110€

Thanks a lot for your help! I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed the control rod on the height sensor. The cost was similar to what you mentioned. Everything is fixed now.

I had something similar on my Scenic. Warning light and bumpy ride sound familiar. Check your leveling sensor, it might be faulty. The leveling sensor is responsible for maintaining the correct ride height, compensating for load and road conditions. A defective control rod on the sensor could definitely be the culprit.
